ティア has revised its full-year consolidated earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending September 2026, setting net sales at ¥21.950 billion, operating income at ¥1.075 billion, ordinary income at ¥875 million, net income attributable to owners of the parent at ¥500 million and net income per share at ¥22.22. The decreases are 7.4% for net sales, 47.2% for operating income, 52.1% for ordinary income and 52.4% for net income.
The revision reflects results for the cumulative third quarter and the outlook for the fourth quarter. While the funeral services business is expected to benefit from operating in Hokkaido throughout the year, the number of funerals is projected to increase by only 0.4% from the previous fiscal year, owing to the reaction to the increase in funeral numbers in the same period of the previous fiscal year.
On the earnings side, expenses are expected to be ¥338 million lower than the initial forecast as a result of cost controls. However, lower net sales and a higher cost-of-sales ratio are expected to weigh on earnings, resulting in downward pressure on profit.
