Apple International has significantly revised upward its consolidated earnings forecast for the second quarter of the fiscal year ending December 2026. The company expects overseas used-vehicle exports to remain strong, resulting in net sales and each profit item exceeding the previous forecast.
In response to strong performance in its overseas used-vehicle export business, the company revised its consolidated earnings forecast for the second quarter of the fiscal year ending December 2026, covering the six months from January through June 2026. Although costs have risen due to higher crude oil and fuel prices, improving external conditions and the ongoing depreciation of the yen are expected to provide support.
The revised consolidated earnings forecast calls for net sales of ¥24.396 billion, up 34.0% from the previous forecast, operating income of ¥590 million, up 46.8%, ordinary income of ¥725 million, up 25.9%, and interim net income attributable to owners of the parent of ¥553 million, up 36.9%.
In the overseas used-vehicle export business, the increase in shipments, mainly to Malaysia, and the ongoing depreciation of the yen contributed to performance. These factors provided the basis for the upward revisions, including those to the individual profit items.
The revision reflects a review of the interim-period outlook announced on 13 February 2026. Future performance is expected to depend on market and foreign exchange trends.
