Seven Bank and Sugamo Shinkin Bank have signed a basic agreement to begin offering +Connect's ATM notification and ATM counter services from December 2026. This will be the first implementation by a shinkin bank in Tokyo, with the aim of improving the efficiency of ongoing customer management.
Seven Bank and Sugamo Shinkin Bank have signed a basic agreement to provide +Connect (Plus Connect)'s "ATM Notification" and "ATM Counter" services using Seven Bank's ATMs. The services are scheduled to begin being offered in December 2026, and the parties aim to digitize operations and improve the efficiency of customer service.
+Connect is a suite of services that, in principle, enables customers to complete certain counter procedures at ATMs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This implementation will be the first of its kind by a shinkin bank in Tokyo. Sugamo Shinkin Bank plans to use ATM Notification for customer management and guidance on renewing residence periods, and to use ATM Counter as a one-stop counter for information update procedures.
Previously, guidance and the collection of responses were conducted mainly by post, creating issues such as undelivered notices and low response rates. By displaying necessary information and collecting responses when customers use ATMs, the parties aim to improve convenience and increase operational efficiency. Seven Bank has stated that it will continue to enhance its services to create customers' "everyday future."
The key information in this basic agreement is that it will be the first implementation by a shinkin bank in Tokyo and that the services are scheduled to launch in December 2026. Further releases are expected as the initiative progresses.
