三陽商会 reported a wider consolidated ordinary loss for the first half (March-August) of the fiscal year ending September 2023 and revised down its full-year dividend. The loss also widened in the latest June-August quarter, while the company forecast second-half ordinary profit of ¥2.42 billion.
三陽商会 announced its results on 6 October, reporting a consolidated ordinary loss of ¥420 million for the first half (March-August), wider than the ¥140 million loss recorded in the same period of the previous year.
At the same time, it left its full-year forecast unchanged, with second-half consolidated ordinary profit calculated to increase 52.7% year on year to ¥2.42 billion.
In the latest three-month period, June-August, consolidated ordinary income/loss was a ¥520 million loss, and the operating margin deteriorated to -5.4%.
The full-year dividend for the current fiscal year was revised down from ¥112 to ¥107.
