A memorandum of understanding was signed to pursue the use of new technologies in dementia care in India, and a ceremony was held at DemCon 2026. The consortium, led by AASIZAH, G&S and Sanyo Trading, is preparing to begin collaboration with DIA.
Sanyo Trading, together with G&S, its capital and business alliance partner, established a consortium led by AASIZAH and signed a memorandum of understanding with DIA to address challenges in dementia care. The ceremony was held at DemCon 2026.
The consortium comprises AASIZAH, G&S and Sanyo Trading. Taking into account India’s diverse languages, cultures and healthcare environments, it will consider the use of technologies and services that contribute to improving dementia care. It will also consider the potential use in India of G&S technologies that use facial expressions and voice in everyday conversation.
Sanyo Trading will support collaboration toward commercialisation by drawing on its experience in overseas business development and market development. AASIZAH will promote ecosystem formation and the local implementation of digital platforms, while G&S will provide technologies related to cognitive function.
Going forward, the parties plan to discuss specific solutions, conduct technology demonstrations and consult on service implementation, with the aim of addressing social challenges and creating new value through collaboration with domestic and overseas partners.
