Sanyo Trading established a consortium with G&S and AASIZAH Health Ecosystems to address challenges in dementia care in India. In September 2026, it signed a memorandum of basic agreement with DIA at DemCon 2026.
Sanyo Trading established a consortium with George & Shaun (G&S), its capital and business alliance partner, and India's AASIZAH Health Ecosystems to address challenges in dementia care. The dementia conference DemCon 2026 was held in Chennai as a local event, where the parties signed a memorandum of basic agreement with DIA.
The initiative will combine cognitive-function technologies developed by Japanese companies with India's healthcare and nursing-care environment and support networks. The consortium will examine potential applications in India for G&S's monitoring technology and its technology using facial expressions and voice in everyday conversations.
Sanyo Trading will support collaboration toward commercialization by drawing on its experience in overseas business development and market expansion. AASIZAH will provide expertise in ecosystem development and local implementation of digital platforms, while G&S will be responsible for cognitive-function technologies. DIA will advance cooperation as a nonprofit organization supporting people with dementia, primarily family caregivers.
