ORLAB and DevRev expanded their reseller agreement and strengthened their framework for supporting the adoption of AI customer support by Japanese companies. They will integrate customer data and knowledge to provide consistent support, while using their track record in training services to promote the use of AI across a broad range of fields.
ORLAB Co., Ltd. (ORLAB) and DevRev Japan LLC (DevRev) announced that they had expanded their collaboration under a reseller agreement to support the adoption of AI customer support by Japanese companies. The aim of the collaboration is to address the difficulties of information management at growing companies and provide customer support through a consistent framework. The companies plan to apply their experience in training services to expand the use of AI across a broad range of fields.
As information becomes increasingly siloed, the companies identified the challenge of customer data and knowledge being distributed across multiple languages and time zones. ORLAB and DevRev aim to integrate this information, reduce the workload on staff and establish appropriate operating procedures.
In addition to providing ICT consulting, IT training and DX support, ORLAB operates the Wawiwa data analytics training program and will provide question-answering support using DevRev's AI platform. The companies will strengthen a framework under which staff handle matters requiring individual judgment.
Looking ahead, the companies plan to expand support for startups and growth companies in Japan and overseas and build systems that connect customer feedback to product and service improvements. They also indicated a policy of strengthening collaboration with financial institutions, investors, telecommunications operators and IT companies.
