六甲バター is stepping up construction of a plant in Vietnam and accelerating its overseas business. By also investing resources in its domestic cheese business, the company aims to capture growth in Southeast Asian markets and become the world's leading processed cheese manufacturer.
六甲バター has begun construction of a new plant in Vietnam, following the establishment of its local subsidiary QBB ASIA, to accelerate its global expansion. Construction began this July, and the company is working to expand its local production capacity.
In the domestic market, the company ranks among the leaders in terms of purchase-value share for processed cheese, and data from Intage show that it continues to maintain its position as the market leader. The development of overseas bases and the allocation of resources to Southeast Asia are progressing.
The company has set out the achievement of its management vision of becoming the "world's leading processed cheese manufacturer," and this fiscal year plans to strengthen its overseas business while growing its domestic BtoC cheese business. The start of operations at the Vietnam plant is positioned as a key element of its global expansion.
Construction of the Vietnam plant is intended to address the expansion of the local market and stabilise the supply chain, with the aim of gaining market share across Southeast Asia. Through the reorganisation of resource allocation between overseas expansion and its domestic business, 六甲バター is pursuing sustainable business growth.
