Gunma Bank opened newly constructed premises for its Maebashi-Higashi and Katakai branches following relocation. With its management integration with The Daishi Hokuetsu Bank scheduled for April 2027, the premises are expected to become shared facilities.
On 13 October, Gunma Bank opened newly constructed premises for its Maebashi-Higashi and Katakai branches following relocation. The Katakai Branch was consolidated within the Maebashi-Higashi Branch under an in-branch branch format, and plans call for the new premises to become shared facilities that will eventually house The Daishi Hokuetsu Bank’s Maebashi-Higashi Branch.
The new premises are a two-story reinforced-concrete building. The first floor is arranged as a transaction area with teller windows and ATMs, while the second floor is a consulting area for matters including asset management and business succession. In anticipation of The Daishi Hokuetsu Bank’s move-in, meeting rooms, private rooms with soundproofing, a cafeteria and a multipurpose space were also arranged for shared use.
An open house was held the same day for executives and others from Daishi Hokuetsu Financial Group. The banks explained that the relocation was intended to address the aging of the former premises and strengthen sales capabilities by consolidating human resources and information. Specific plans for joint operations are expected to be developed in line with the integration scheduled for April 2027.
