In an announcement made after 6 p.m., full-year ordinary profit was also expected to turn from a loss to a profit, while net income was expected to widen its loss in line with the previous forecast. The loss was expected to be approximately ¥124 million. Fourth-quarter ordinary profit was expected to be a ¥98 million loss.
The company also transitioned to non-consolidated financial reporting from the third quarter, and its full-year figures may be revised depending on future progress.
For the latest three-month period, third-quarter ordinary profit was ¥59 million, a substantial decline from the profitable level recorded in the same quarter of the previous year.
