The “品川リフラ presents 42nd Bizen Ware Festival” will be held on 17 and 18 October 2026 around Ibe Station in Bizen, Okayama, bringing together Bizen ware artists and their pieces at 47 vendors across 4 venues. The “品川リフラ presents 42nd Bizen Ware Festival” will be held for 2 days, on Saturday, 17 October and Sunday, 18 October 2026, around Ibe Station on the JR Ako Line in Bizen, Okayama. A total of 47 vendors will set up at 4 venues. Visitors can enjoy a full range of distinctive works by Bizen ware artists, purchase ceramics and meet the artists.
At the special Bizen ware sales tent, visitors can choose pieces while speaking directly with the artists and kiln operators. During the event period, purchasing and presenting a B-pass for ¥500 provides 20% off Bizen ware purchases with no limit on the number of uses, as well as one lottery entry as a benefit. The event will include a kids’ park, pottery-wheel experiences, kiln tours, lucky-bag sales, historic-site and sightseeing guides, and stalls serving local food. Admission is free.
