The Tokyo Metropolitan Small and Medium Enterprise Support Center will hold a business matching event for Japanese and Vietnamese companies in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, on 8 December. The event is expected to involve 10 Japanese companies and 50 Vietnamese companies.
The Tokyo Metropolitan Small and Medium Enterprise Support Center will hold a business matching event in Vietnam in cooperation with the International Relations Department of VCCI Ho Chi Minh, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, providing Japanese and Vietnamese companies with opportunities for business meetings. The parties signed an LOI in fiscal 2024 and have been working together since then, with this event forming part of that collaboration.
The event is scheduled to take place on 8 December 2026 at a venue in Ho Chi Minh City, with approximately 10 Japanese companies and 50 Vietnamese companies expected to participate. The participating companies will be selected by the Center and VCCI. The event will include multiple one-on-one business meetings, an opening ceremony and opportunities for participants to network.
ONE-VALUE Co., Ltd. has been commissioned to manage operations locally, including liaison and coordination with the Center and VCCI, collecting and translating materials, providing guidance on the business meeting schedule, preparing the venue, managing registration and proceedings on the day, and compiling and reporting on questionnaires. The Center will make separate arrangements for interpreters at the individual business meeting booths.
The event is intended to provide face-to-face meetings with prospective customers and business partners in the Vietnamese market. The meeting themes and participating companies will be determined following coordination.
