TED has launched sales of FalconVault, its proprietary solution for preventing the leakage of intellectual property in edge AI models. The solution encrypts AI models and binds them to specific hardware, limiting operation outside authorised environments.
TED began selling FalconVault on 20 October 2026 to protect edge AI models incorporating companies' intellectual property and know-how. The solution targets Windows-based edge devices, with support provided throughout evaluation, deployment and operation.
FalconVault has three core functions. First, it makes analysis and tampering difficult by encrypting AI model files. Second, device binding using TPM creates an environment in which encrypted models cannot be decrypted or executed on hardware other than the designated device. Finally, allowlist control restricts access to the AI model to registered software. These technologies are currently the subject of patent applications.
The PoC/evaluation version costs ¥100,000 per month, with maintenance also costing ¥100,000 per month. The production version starts at an initial fee of ¥2.4 million, with individual quotes based on scale and the number of devices. All prices are exclusive of tax.
Going forward, the company plans to provide comprehensive support from validation through actual operation by combining FalconVault with hands-on assistance such as Try it! SLM on Edge. A keynote at EdgeTech+ 2026 is also scheduled to present practical implementation solutions that include intellectual property protection. Potential applications include machines operating in offline environments and devices handling confidential data.
