DyDo Group Holdings surged on the 28th, with the stock approaching its all-time high since listing. The intraday share price rose to ¥3,550, posting a substantial gain from the previous day.
For the cumulative first-half period, revenue was ¥120.1 billion, up 2% year on year, and operating profit was ¥6.74 billion, up 4.9-fold year on year. The recovery in beverage sales through vending machines and growth in the overseas business lifted profit, while measures to improve profitability also proved effective.
The full-year operating profit forecast was raised from the previous ¥10.5 billion to ¥12.3 billion. The outlook assumes firm domestic demand for soft drinks and increased marketing investment overseas.
The stock set a new year-to-date high during the day's trading and approached the record high of ¥3,600 reached in December 2024.
