EcoVadis and Resilire have announced a business partnership and will begin efforts to enhance supply chain risk management for Japanese companies by integrating EcoVadis sustainability assessment data into Resilire’s supply chain map.
Geopolitical risks, natural disasters and cyberattacks, as well as risks in sustainability-related areas such as the environment, labor and human rights, are increasingly affecting corporate value. For Japanese companies, challenges have been identified in visualizing all business partners from Tier 2 onward and ensuring comprehensive and objective risk assessment.
As for the significance of the memorandum of understanding, Resilire provides a risk management platform that collects and visualizes upstream supply chain information and detects risks such as disasters, accidents and geopolitical events in real time. EcoVadis conducts sustainability assessments covering more than 170,000 suppliers worldwide. By integrating this assessment data into Resilire’s map, the companies aim to create an environment in which the overall supply chain and the sustainability assessments of individual suppliers can be reviewed in an integrated manner.
Going forward, the companies aim to launch the service in fiscal 2027. They will develop specifications for data integration, expand the scope of the data covered and integrate the data with risk detection functions, contributing to greater resilience in Japanese companies’ global supply chains.
Through their collaboration, the two companies aim to create an environment that combines Resilire’s risk monitoring with EcoVadis assessment data to visualize and assess supplier risk factors and support procurement teams’ decision-making.
