Resilire and KPMG Consulting have entered into a collaboration agreement to jointly strengthen supply chain resilience through supply chain visibility and risk detection. The two companies aim to improve information gathering and risk assessment, including at upstream tiers.
Resilire, Inc. announced that it had entered into a collaboration agreement with KPMG Consulting Co., Ltd. to jointly strengthen corporate supply chains. Using Resilire's supply chain management cloud platform, “Resilire,” as the core service, the companies plan to provide comprehensive support ranging from strategy development and implementation support to supplier engagement.
The companies explained that supply chain risks surrounding businesses have become more complex and diverse as a result of heightened economic security and geopolitical risks, increasingly severe natural disasters, more sophisticated cyberattacks and tighter regulations. At many companies, information on business partners, sites and products is managed in separate systems, making it difficult to visualise risks and respond quickly when incidents occur.
Resilire provides a cloud service that collects and visualises upstream information, including information on primary suppliers, and detects risks in real time. Through the collaboration, the companies aim to improve the identification of risk factors, determine the scope of their impact, strengthen initial responses and enhance analysis and assessment during normal operations. The service is said to contribute to strengthening supply systems in manufacturing industries including pharmaceuticals, chemicals and automobiles.
According to the company profile, Resilire was established in 2018 and its representative director and CEO is Tsuda Yudai (津田裕大). Its business is the planning, development, operation and sale of the supply chain management service “Resilire,” and its head office is located in Minato Ward.
