Enigmo Inc. announced its results for the first quarter of the fiscal year ending January 2027. Revenue fell 2.0% year on year to ¥1.463 billion, and the company posted an operating loss of ¥150 million. The decline in revenue from the Fashion Platform business affected results, despite solid revenue from the Travel Platform business.
Travel Platform revenue performed strongly, rising 61.3%, reportedly driven by enhancements to its customer-referral functionality and expanded overseas operations. Quarterly net profit attributable to owners of the parent increased to ¥101 million, due to gains on the sale of investment securities.
The full-year forecast was left unchanged. Revenue is expected to increase by approximately 15.4% from the previous year, while operating profit is projected to decline by approximately 4.7%. Expansion in the travel sector and further in-house development of transfer functionality have been identified as performance points to monitor going forward.
Regarding historical performance, an analysis notes a declining trend in profitability over the past 12 quarters. It also says that, although the equity ratio remains high and stable, growth in revenue and EPS has slowed.
