Kasumigaseki Capital (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) announced that its subsidiary, KASUMIGASEKI CAPITAL (MALAYSIA) Sdn Bhd, and JLG Capital Sdn Bhd had entered into a basic agreement (MOU) to explore business opportunities involving automated frozen-storage warehouse development and low-temperature logistics infrastructure in Malaysia. The companies will explore local business opportunities, including joint projects involving technology-enabled automated warehouses.
The project is not limited to frozen and refrigerated storage and also envisages temperature-controlled and ambient storage. By incorporating automation technology into low-temperature logistics infrastructure, the companies aim to improve storage capacity and space efficiency, as well as the efficiency of product movement and management. Going forward, they will discuss the possibility of a joint venture covering investment, development, ownership and operations.
