グリーンランドリゾート will hold the year-end event “GREENLAND COUNTDOWN2027” at Green Land in Kumamoto. The event will offer a special New Year’s Eve night featuring a special live performance by Rin音, a midnight countdown fireworks display and illuminations.
Green Land will hold the year-end event “GREENLAND COUNTDOWN2027” from 31 December 2026 to 1 January 2027. Rin音 will perform a special live show on a temporary stage at the plaza in front of the pond, and fireworks are scheduled to be launched at exactly midnight to celebrate the New Year with visitors. Illuminations throughout the park will also be switched on after sunset.
The venue is Green Land (Midorigaoka, Arao, Kumamoto Prefecture), operated by グリーンランドリゾート. The amusement park will remain open until 25:00, providing the unusual atmosphere associated with New Year’s Eve. Admission to the event is free, but a separate amusement park admission fee is required.
The event information also states that the facility has what is described as Japan’s largest number of attractions. The site covers approximately 550,000 square metres, and “Wonder illumination”, featuring more than 100 illuminated spots at night, will be held. Initiatives marking the park’s 60th anniversary are also introduced.
