During the visit, President Yasui is believed to have explained measures to prevent recurrence in response to the data irregularities related to the screening for the restart of the Hamaoka Nuclear Power Plant. Fukuroi City and Mori Town are both within a 31-kilometer radius of the Hamaoka Nuclear Power Plant.
