SS&C Blue Prism has officially launched the Japanese-language version of its WorkHQ business automation platform. The integrated platform connects AI agents, RPA and people in the roles best suited to each, with the aim of overcoming barriers to AI adoption at Japanese companies.
On 7 October 2026, SS&C Blue Prism launched the Japanese-language version of its WorkHQ business automation platform. It positions the platform as an infrastructure solution that links AI agents and RPA and connects people in the roles best suited to them, turning siloed automation into enterprise-wide optimization.
WorkHQ is intended to overcome the “three barriers” of relying on AI alone, insufficient integration among multiple systems, and uncertainty in outcomes arising from AI’s probabilistic nature. President Hiroshi Hase (長谷太志) emphasized the importance of integrated management and orchestration.
Parent company SS&C has approximately 23,000 customers globally and operates core infrastructure in production under strict governance in the financial and healthcare sectors. Its strength is said to lie in a “customer zero” cycle, in which internally developed software is tested and operated in the field and the resulting practical knowledge is fed back into the products.
Examples of WorkHQ’s implementation benefits include more than 3,500 AI agents and RPA systems currently operating in production and annual cost savings exceeding ¥30 billion. In reconciliation work for trade discrepancies, operating time was reportedly reduced sharply from 82 minutes to 5 minutes.
