エムアップホールディングス announced that it would defer disclosing its forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027 at the start of the fiscal year. The company cited the planned continuation of organizational restructuring to accelerate growth, alongside strategic investments in global expansion and generative AI, among other areas, making it difficult at this point to calculate their impact on performance appropriately and reasonably.
The company had disclosed its forecast for fiscal 2027 on 2026/6/26, projecting higher revenue and profit, with revenue of ¥36,000 million, operating profit of ¥5,800 million, ordinary profit of ¥6,000 million and net profit attributable to owners of the parent of ¥3,500 million. It also announced that the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's IP360 program had selected its "overseas expansion of the fan club business model" project and approved the related grant award.
The company's future direction includes accelerating growth through the full-scale expansion of its global operations and the creation of next-generation fan businesses. It plans to strengthen the integrated platform built around its fan club business, continue strategic investment, enhance coordination with its e-commerce and electronic ticketing businesses, and foster new businesses, including through M&A.
