MicroAd revised upward its full-year earnings outlook for the fiscal year ending September 2026. The benefits of its productivity improvement measures are expected to lift profit above the previous forecast, while revenue is projected to increase year on year.
MicroAd revised upward its consolidated earnings outlook for the fiscal year ending September 2026. Revenue is projected to increase 13.5% year on year to ¥17,788 million, adjusted operating profit to rise 65.2% to ¥1,295 million, operating profit to increase 67.1% to ¥1,024 million, ordinary profit to grow 79.3% to ¥952 million, and net income attributable to owners of the parent to rise 247.6% to ¥678 million.
The benefits of productivity improvement measures implemented in the fiscal year ended September 2025 are coming fully on stream in the fiscal year ending September 2026. Through hiring initiatives, business process reforms and greater operating efficiency enabled by AI adoption, the company is achieving revenue growth and improved profit margins at the same time. Although demand is expected to slow in the second half due to seasonality in the advertising industry, the company expects to maintain firm demand through diversification across a broad range of industries and the expansion of regional offices.
As the core of its growth strategy, the company is pursuing its vision of becoming an “integrated data company” and expanding use of the UNIVERSE DATA PLATFORM. It plans to strengthen integrations with external platforms beyond its own advertising platform, expand the data ecosystem, and use diverse data to improve the accuracy and broaden the applications of its industry-specific product lineup. The company is simultaneously expanding its advertising delivery operations and the scope of its data applications.
Factors driving the increase in selling, general and administrative expenses include the consolidation of 2 overseas subsidiaries acquired in January 2026, in Indonesia and China, and expenses related to the shareholder benefit program launched in March 2026. Development investment, meanwhile, is expected to remain broadly unchanged from the previous fiscal year.
