ドリーム・アーツ has announced a medium-term management plan based on the digital democratization strategy. The plan positions SmartDB as the platform for promoting citizen development and sets out a policy of expanding overseas operations and the use of AI.
The plan defines digital democratization as “a state in which, as in-house DX becomes a management issue, business divisions take the initiative in addressing challenges and creating value through DX, and autonomously and continuously lead efforts to improve and amplify that value.” It states that the prerequisites for this are for business divisions to be responsible for the return on investment in DX for their own divisions, take the lead in defining business requirements and determining specifications, and actively participate in the implementation process through citizen development.
Of the five CSFs for advancing the basic strategy, the five considered particularly important are promoting SmartDB adoption in the MCSA area; Global Connect, which targets the digitalization of overseas offices; the new AI initiative DAPA and its advanced version, DAPA 2.0; PLG, which is aimed at product-led growth; and EC2, which strengthens the digital promotion structure through external resources.
In the MCSA area, projects involving the front end of large-scale accounting operations are under way, and inquiries are expected to increase as the number of case studies grows. Global Connect is scheduled to expand beyond Japanese, English and Chinese to more than 10 languages, promoting the standardization of operations across overseas offices through no-code tools. DAPA is intended to use AI for decision support, with semantic DX as its core concept and an emphasis on collaboration between AI agents and people. PLG positions SmartDB as a growth engine and aims to drive upselling through options such as support for identity verification using the My Number Card and integration with other companies’ SaaS products. EC2 sets out a policy of expanding DX talent development and hands-on support through external resources.
