PBシステムズ has entered into a partnership agreement with Synology Japan. It will add data protection and backup measures for companies and local governments to the Cyber Ninpōchō lineup and expand implementation support.
PBシステムズ announced that it had entered into a partnership agreement with Synology Japan on 29 October. Through the partnership, PBシステムズ will incorporate Synology's data protection and backup solutions into its Cyber Ninpōchō cybersecurity measures service and strengthen proposals and implementation support for companies and local governments.
Synology's data protection solutions have a track record of protecting more than 30 million workloads at organizations worldwide. Through the agreement, the company will broaden data protection and recovery options, primarily for mid-sized and small businesses and local governments.
Drawing on its expertise in designing and building core systems and virtualization platforms, PBシステムズ will provide consistent support tailored to customers' operations, including backup design, preparation and testing of recovery procedures, and operation and maintenance.
The company will promote proposals to review backup environments and recovery frameworks when existing customers renew their systems or migrate to the cloud. By combining these proposals with its existing defense and monitoring services, it aims to expand ongoing operation and maintenance business and strengthen the earnings base of its core business.
