PBシステムズ has added Cloudflare's cloud-based security services to its Cyber Ninpōchō cybersecurity measures service and begun offering proposals and implementation support for companies and local governments. The company aims to broaden its coverage by strengthening Web system defenses using WAF functionality.
PBシステムズ announced on 28 October that it had added functionality from US-based Cloudflare, a provider of cloud-based security services, to its Cyber Ninpōchō cybersecurity measures service and would begin offering proposals and implementation support. The service targets companies and local governments and is intended to strengthen Web system defenses.
The main functionality being added is Cloudflare's WAF (Web application firewall), which inspects communications to Web systems and blocks unauthorized traffic targeting vulnerabilities before it reaches them. It helps reduce the risk of attacks before security patches can be applied.
Cyber Ninpōchō is positioned as a comprehensive security service that combines multiple security products and services to support customers from attack preparedness through recovery. Its strength is said to lie in selecting products according to the customer's size, industry and system environment.
Through this expansion, PBシステムズ aims to further broaden its proposals for companies and SaaS providers operating Web systems and expand revenue opportunities in its security business by providing services from design and development through continuous operation and maintenance.
