Odakyu Electric Railway has launched day tours for visitors to Japan. The two-area itineraries cover Hakone and Enoshima–Kamakura, with English-speaking guides accompanying participants and assisting with boarding and transfers on public transportation.
Odakyu Electric Railway has launched the guided day tour for international visitors, Odakyu Official CHECKBOX TOUR with Guide. Available on weekdays only, it offers two courses, “Hakone” and “Enoshima–Kamakura,” using public transportation including the Romancecar limited express, the Hakone Ropeway, and the Enoshima Electric Railway.
An English-speaking guide accompanies each tour, providing not only sightseeing information but also assistance with boarding and transferring between public transportation services. A notable feature is that the itineraries are planned using local transportation rather than chartered vehicles.
The Hakone course starts and ends at Shinjuku Station and lasts approximately 10 hours, while the Enoshima–Kamakura course starts and ends at Kamakura Station and lasts approximately 8 hours. Prices are ¥17,800–¥32,800 for adults on the Hakone course and ¥13,800–¥19,300 for adults on the Enoshima–Kamakura course. Transportation costs are charged separately for the Hakone course.
The capacity is 6 participants for each course, with a minimum of 1 participant. Tours begin on 1 October, and bookings can be made up to 6 months in advance. Applications are accepted through the dedicated website or the Odakyu Travel Center, with English-language support available.
