PERSOL HOLDINGS CO., LTD. refreshed the accounting systems of 30 major domestic companies, built a new common accounting platform and brought it into operation. SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition serves as the core ERP, while BlackLine has been adopted as the application supporting financial close operations and SAP Integration Suite as the data integration platform.
The company adopted the “Fit to Standard” approach of aligning its operations with the package, and established an organizational structure to promote standardized operations across the group, including the finance and systems departments, each operating company and outsourcing partners.
As a result of the refresh, journal data for all 30 companies can now be imported in a single batch, improving the search performance of monthly ledger data. This has reduced the workload involved in accounting operations and increased operational transparency.
Going forward, the company will advance the automation of financial close operations and receivables clearing, while expanding the use of AI, with the aim of creating an environment that can provide financial information to management more quickly for decision-making.
