Apple released invitations on 26 August U.S. time for its annual fall iPhone launch event. The highlights are reported to include the foldable iPhone “iPhone Fold,” as well as the iPhone 18 series, a new Apple Watch, and updates to the AirPods.
The event will be held at Apple Park in California, with the keynote scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on 9 September local time (2:00 a.m. Japan time on 10 September). The invitation carries the message “Surprise and shine.”
The foldable iPhone is rumored to be called iPhone Fold, iPhone Ultra, or iPhone Flip, with an estimated price of around $2,000–$2,500. The next-generation iPhone 18 is expected to feature a variable-aperture camera, a smaller Dynamic Island, and a larger-capacity battery, and is reportedly likely to cost more than previous models. A new AirPods model with cameras, ceramic additions and improved battery life for the Apple Watch Series 12, as well as upgrades to Touch ID and blood pressure features, are also being discussed.
