The provisionally named Esperia Hotel Sapporo will be built on the former site of Paraca Parking 101 and is scheduled to open in late January 2027. The 13-story facility will have 196 rooms and is intended to serve both tourism and business demand.
The provisionally named Esperia Hotel Sapporo is scheduled to open in late January 2027 on the former site of Paraca Parking 101 in Minami 3-jo Nishi 5-chome, Chuo-ku, Sapporo. The hotel will be operated by Samty Hotel Management, part of the Samty Group, marking the group's planned first entry into Hokkaido.
The site area is approximately 820.17 sq m. The hotel will have 13 above-ground floors, 196 guest rooms and a total floor area of approximately 7,037 sq m. The 1st floor will house a restaurant, the 2nd floor will contain the front desk, lobby and large public bath, and the 3rd to 13th floors will comprise guest rooms.
The guest rooms will consist primarily of double and twin rooms, with 190 rooms including connecting rooms. Four rooms will be triple rooms and 2 will be accessible rooms. The hotel is close to Tanukikoji Shopping Arcade, Susukino and Odori, and demand from both tourists and business travelers is expected.
As background to the construction, the parking lot formerly operated as Paraca Parking was acquired by Samty in 2021. Demolition began in 2023, and the site has now been cleared.
