Apple announced HomeView as a new device for enjoying entertainment while managing the home. It features a 7-inch Liquid Retina display and can be placed on a table or mounted on a wall. It is available in 4 colors: silver, starlight, rose pink and space gray. It recognizes up to 6 users and provides each with a personalized experience. Based on the body of the inquiry, pre-orders are already open.
HomeView features Siri AI and uses Apple Intelligence to provide answers based on personal context and enable integration across apps. When connected with an iPhone, iPad or other devices, it can display and control information such as calendars, messages and music playlists for each individual user.
For the design, a wall-mount model is also available and can be installed using a mount made by Schneider Home. Adaptive display technologies such as True Tone are designed to maintain readability even in sunlight.
The sales information states that pre-orders have opened and sales will begin on 13 November. It also explains that the device works with smart-home peripherals, Apple Home Collection and Matter-compatible accessories.
