VALUENEX announced its results for the first quarter of the fiscal year ending July 2026. The period ran from August through October 2025, and net sales rose 39.3% year on year to ¥183 million, a record high since listing for a first quarter. Driven by higher sales and cost reductions, the operating result improved by ¥66 million, narrowing the operating loss to ¥1 million, while ordinary income and subsequent profit lines returned to profitability.
At the earnings briefing, the company said its consulting business was the main driver of overall growth, with all services, including ASP, exceeding the previous year's results. By region, Japan increased while the United States declined, although large projects are underway in the North American market. The order backlog and contracted revenue reached 73% of the previous full year's sales.
The company unveiled its new service, RTI (Radar Tech Intelligence), at CEATEC 2025 and outlined plans to automate the preparation of reports based on patent information. The full-year forecast remains undetermined due to uncertainties surrounding Trump tariffs and the international situation, and the company said it would disclose the forecast once disclosure becomes possible.
Financially, VALUENEX maintained an equity ratio of 79.7% and debt-free management. Going forward, the company plans to promote multilayered expansion built on ASP, combining consulting with human support to achieve both profitability and scale.
