The World Prematurity Day awareness event “A Day to Hold Small Hands and Join Hands” will be held on 14 October 2026 at the 1F Leaf Court at Ario Kitasuna, co-hosted by PIGEON CORPORATION and Tomonite.
The World Prematurity Day awareness event “A Day to Hold Small Hands and Join Hands: Your ‘Knowing’ Becomes Encouragement” will be held from 11:00 to 16:30 on 14 October 2026 at the 1F Leaf Court at Ario Kitasuna in Koto City, Tokyo. The organizer is PIGEON CORPORATION, and the co-organizer is every,Inc.’s “Tomonite”. Supporting organizations include 株式会社赤ちゃん本舗 and the Japan NICU Family Association Organization (JOIN). The venue will feature an awareness area with a photo exhibition, talk sessions, a handprint wall and a breast milk bank.
The event will include a stage talk session with 2 mothers who have experienced preterm birth and specialists, a handprint wall where visitors can create artwork using their handprints, a photo exhibition following the growth of babies born small and their families, and an awareness booth for the Little Baby Support Service. Admission is free. The program is intended to raise awareness of World Prematurity Day throughout society and expand the circle of support.
