Zojirushi Corporation announced that it will launch the 18L EU-CA18 oven microwave on 1 September 2026. The product name and launch date are specified, and it will be sold at an open price.
The appliance has a compact design with a depth of 40cm and can be installed with the rear positioned as close as 0cm from the wall, making it suitable for kitchens with limited space. The installation instructions state that it should be positioned at least 20cm away from surrounding areas to avoid the effects of heat from the exhaust vent.
The appliance is equipped with a rapid-sensing infrared sensor that detects the temperature of food every second. It offers a range of modes for convenient everyday heating, including automatic reheating, temperature selection and defrosting.
The release also highlights additional features, including a wide and flat design that makes use of the approximately 37cm-wide cavity, a high-output 900W inverter, an extensive selection of recipes and a deodorizing function.
