A logistics DX seminar hosted by Tokei Computer will be held at Hibiya Central Building on 4 and 5 November, with presentations by four companies— IHI Logistics & Machinery, Chiyoda-gumi, Tokei Computer and Toshiba Tec—covering technologies and implementation examples centered on physical AI.
Tokei Computer (Nakahara-ku, Kawasaki) will hold its third Logistics DX Seminar on 4 and 5 November to improve efficiency and reduce staffing requirements at logistics sites. The four scheduled presenters are IHI Logistics & Machinery, Chiyoda-gumi, Tokei Computer and Toshiba Tec. They will introduce the latest technologies and implementation examples using physical AI, transport robots, WMS and RFID.
IHI Logistics & Machinery is scheduled to present logistics-site DX technologies using physical AI and examples of their implementation. Chiyoda-gumi will explain the outlook for visualizing and automating transport operations using the collaborative transport robot Souther and its dedicated app. Under the theme “Monetizing Stagnant Inventory through AI,” Tokei Computer will discuss the shift from defensive WMS to offensive WMS. Toshiba Tec is expected to present examples of RFID applications.
Against the backdrop of labor shortages and rising costs at logistics sites, the seminar will cover technologies and practical examples aimed at achieving greater efficiency, reduced staffing requirements and sustainable logistics. It will run from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. on both days, in a fully in-person format at the Chiyoda-gumi 19th-floor conference room in Hibiya Central Building, with no webcast. Attendance is free, and advance registration is required.
