Nippon Electric Company held the offer-holder ceremony at its Tamagawa campus in Kawasaki on the first day of the integration, where approximately 1,000 prospective hires scheduled to join in April 2027 interacted with their future colleagues.
Nippon Electric Company held "NEC Welcome Day 2026" on the 1st at its Tamagawa campus in Nakahara Ward, Kawasaki. The event was for prospective hires scheduled to join in April 2027 and coincided with the first day of integration with NEC Solution Innovators, a group company. The ceremony was divided into morning and afternoon sessions, each providing approximately 500 prospective hires with an opportunity to interact with their future colleagues.
Participants interacted through quiz-based content and self-introductions, and group work provided time to discuss their attitudes, ideas and expectations regarding their work after joining the company. Participants were seen facing one another, exchanging words with smiles while holding the event materials.
Naohiro Yoshinaga (吉永尚弘), General Manager of Talent Management, positioned the prospective hires as the "first cohort of the new NEC" and expressed expectations for them as the first generation to join Nippon Electric Company after the integration. As AI advances and changes work and society, he explained the significance of taking the lead through the integration.
Nippon Electric Company introduced a culture in which people with diverse backgrounds bring together their ideas and aspirations to create things jointly, positioning dialogue at the ceremony as the participants' first experience of that culture. The company encouraged participants to view meeting their future colleagues and exchanging a few words as the start of relationships with future coworkers.
