八十二長野銀行 and 富山第一銀行 entered into a comprehensive business alliance on 30 September and launched the Northern Alps Regional Co-creation Partnership, a new framework to strengthen ties across the Northern Alps region.
The two banks said they intend to expand the scope of cooperation into sales, in addition to administrative and systems operations, in connection with the migration to the じゅうだん会 joint system.
While maintaining their independence and customer bases, they aim to form a broad regional network linking Hokuriku and Shinetsu, promote the growth of local companies and an increase in exchange populations, and create new industries.
Specific initiatives and performance indicators (KPIs) are expected to be decided by working groups of the two banks going forward, as efforts proceed to improve the network’s effectiveness.
