日本色材工業研究所 swung to a consolidated ordinary loss in the first half and also posted a loss in the latest June-August quarter. For the second half, it expects ordinary profit to expand to approximately ¥130 million.
日本色材工業研究所 released its earnings summary, reporting that consolidated ordinary profit/loss for the cumulative first half of the fiscal year ending February 2027 (March-August) swung to a ¥14 million loss. The same period of the previous year was profitable.
Consolidated ordinary profit/loss for the latest June-August quarter also swung to a ¥92 million loss, while the operating profit margin on sales deteriorated from 0.6% in the same period of the previous year to -1.2%.
Based on its unchanged full-year plan, the company estimates that consolidated ordinary profit for the second half (September-February) will surge to ¥130 million, 2.1 times the level of the same period of the previous year.
