PPIH Holdings announced that it had decided to add the 154 stores nationwide operated by Toys"R"Us Japan to its group and had completed the transfer on the same date. As a result, its domestic and overseas store network will be expanded by 154 stores.
The PPIH Group's total store count reached 1,045, including the 891 stores it previously operated, surpassing its long-standing target of 1,000 group stores.
Against the backdrop of Don Quijote's growth strategy since its founding, the group has expanded its store network by incorporating UNY-affiliated Apita and Piago stores and the Olympic Group, among others. Following this transfer, its nationwide network, including the comprehensive specialty retailer of toys and baby products, will be further strengthened.
