NITTAN was announced as having been selected by SUZUKI MOTOR CORPORATION as an outstanding technology-development supplier, and engine valves for flex-fuel vehicles (FFVs) for the Indian market entered mass production. Vehicles equipped with exhaust valves using NMC340 have also entered mass production.
NITTAN CO., LTD. announced that it had been selected by SUZUKI MOTOR CORPORATION as an outstanding technology-development supplier for fiscal 2025.
The recognition was based on the results of NITTAN's collaboration with SUZUKI MOTOR CORPORATION in developing engine valves for FFVs for the Indian market. A key factor was the adoption in exhaust valves of NMC340, a material independently developed by NITTAN for use in its overlay welding technology.
The reasons for the selection included the start of mass production of exhaust valves using NMC340 as products installed in FFVs supplied to Maruti Suzuki India.
