The Bank of Saga announced on the 23rd that it had revised upward its forecast for the September 2026 interim consolidated results. Ordinary revenue is expected to change from ¥32 billion to ¥37 billion, ordinary profit from ¥8.1 billion to ¥8.3 billion, and net profit from ¥5.1 billion to ¥5.8 billion. The full-year earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027 remains unchanged.
Factors behind the upward revision include higher gains on the sale of securities following improvements to the securities portfolio, as well as increases in interest on loans and income from fees and commissions. These factors are believed to have pushed the figures used to assess the interim period above the previous forecast.
Regarding dividends, the bank also announced that its interim dividend forecast would change from ¥55 to ¥65. The year-end dividend forecast remains unchanged at ¥55, and the annual dividend forecast is scheduled to change from ¥110 to ¥120.
