freee announced a business partnership with エクストリーム to expand use of “FREENANCE by freee,” a factoring service for freelancers. Users of エクストリームフリーランス will receive benefits including a simplified application process and preferential fees.
freee K.K. has entered into a business partnership with エクストリーム. Through the partnership, users of エクストリームフリーランス, a service operated by エクストリーム that introduces projects to freelancers, will be able to improve their cash flow through the use of freee’s factoring service, FREENANCE by freee.
With FREENANCE same-day payments, FREENANCE purchases invoices issued to clients before payment is received and transfers the proceeds, less fees, as soon as the same day. エクストリーム provides a service connecting freelance engineers and creators with companies, and the partnership is intended to reduce the cash-flow burden on freelancers.
Through the partnership, the two companies have stated that they will promote the creation of an environment in which freelancers can work on their businesses with confidence and continue expanding their services and support.
As demand for IT and digital talent increases, demand is also growing for factoring services that enable the early conversion of invoices into cash. The partnership will address needs in this market.
