品川リフラ has decided to strengthen equipment at 3 domestic production sites, the Bizen Plant, Setouchi Plant and Isolite Industries, to meet growing semiconductor demand, with total investment of approximately ¥850 million. Operations are scheduled to begin in 2027 and around 2029.
品川リフラ announced plans to strengthen equipment at its domestic production sites, including those of group companies, in response to growing demand in semiconductor-related fields. A total of approximately ¥850 million will be invested across 3 sites, the Bizen Plant, Setouchi Plant and Isolite Industries, to increase production capacity for fine ceramics components and high-performance insulation materials. Operations are scheduled to begin in July 2027, April 2027 and July 2027, respectively.
At the Bizen Plant, ¥200 million will be invested to add a high-temperature firing shuttle kiln for fine ceramics used in semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Firing capacity will be doubled from its current level, with operations scheduled to begin in July 2027.
The Setouchi Plant will receive ¥300 million in investment for additional precision processing equipment, increasing production capacity for high-precision machined components. The company plans to advance in-house production, with operations scheduled to begin in April 2027.
Isolite Industries will invest ¥350 million to strengthen molding and firing equipment for PCW molded products. PCW is a heat-resistant man-made mineral fiber composed primarily of alumina and used as an insulation material. Operations are scheduled to begin in July 2027.
