Rokid announced the display-free AI glasses “Rokid Ai Glasses Style” for the Japanese market. It also unveiled a ring-shaped control device and a dedicated charging case, outlining the products’ positioning in its future expansion in Japan.
At an online presentation on 15 September 2026, Rokid formally announced the display-free AI glasses “Rokid Ai Glasses Style” for the Japanese market. Priced at ¥64,990 including tax, the glasses are sold through the official Japanese online shop, and the presentation is available on the company’s official YouTube channel.
Style does not display images, instead combining voice control, a camera and open-ear audio to enable users to ask questions by voice and check their surroundings without taking out their smartphones. The glasses weigh approximately 38.5 g excluding the lenses, are described as being among the lightest in their class, and are designed for extended wear.
The AI assistants are ChatGPT and Gemini, and users activate them by saying “Hi Rokid.” Integration with external services is also under way, with the company aiming to build an open AI ecosystem centered on YodaOS and the new AIUI interface. Rokid also announced the launch of a global AI agent development platform, with a developer competition scheduled for October 2026.
As part of its initiatives for the Japanese market, Rokid said it would introduce a system for storing data domestically from September 2026 and keep AI conversation response times within 200 milliseconds. Privacy measures include local data management, a camera indicator when recording, a mechanism to prevent camera obstruction and end-to-end encryption.
