SOMPO Risk Management announced a business alliance with Resilire aimed at strengthening supply-chain risk management for Japanese companies. Going forward, the companies will establish a framework centered on Resilire's cloud platform to provide end-to-end support covering visualization, risk assessment, and mitigation.
The companies will leverage the functionality of Resilire's supply-chain risk management cloud, which uses risk scoring to analyze and assess potential risks, and combine it with SOMPO Risk Management's expertise in risk assessment and management. The areas covered include cybersecurity, natural disasters, geopolitical threats, and ESG, extending through risk control and risk finance.
Going forward, the two companies aim to improve the resilience and sustainability of Japan's supply chains by advancing more sophisticated risk assessment and mitigation using supply-chain data and further developing solutions jointly tailored to corporate needs.
