The Hyper Force, first unveiled by Nissan at the Japan Mobility Show, is a concept car for a next-generation high-performance supercar equipped with an electric powertrain producing approximately 1,360 PS. Features such as its four-round-lamp rear design have attracted attention for evoking the next-generation GT-R.
The Nissan Hyper Force, unveiled by Nissan at the Japan Mobility Show in October 2023, is a concept car equipped with an electric powertrain combining all-solid-state batteries with high-output motors. Its stated maximum output is approximately 1,360 PS. It is reportedly intended to combine high environmental performance with everyday usability in a next-generation high-performance sports car.
At the same show, the Hyper Tourer and Hyper Punk were also unveiled, with each suggested to have a connection to a production model. The Hyper Tourer was described as being designed to lead to the new Elgrand, while the Hyper Punk was described as being designed to lead to an EV version of the new Juke for the European market.
The Hyper Force’s exterior is presented as incorporating a four-round-lamp rear design and Nissan’s design DNA, while its aerodynamics were jointly developed with NISMO’s racing team. The interior is also configured with two drive modes, one for the circuit and one for GT driving, and its GUI was developed jointly with the company behind Gran Turismo.
Following reports that production of the GT-R would end in August 2025, Nissan’s CEO was reportedly said to have expressed a desire to achieve the GT-R’s revival during his tenure. Attention is therefore focused on future developments in electric sports cars, including the Hyper Force. With official announcements still pending, the direction of Nissan’s next-generation high-performance strategy is being watched closely.
