丸大食品 has lowered its consolidated earnings forecast for the first half of FY2026, forecasting revenue and net income below its previous projections. Higher raw-material costs and weaker-than-expected sales of its core products are expected to weigh on results.
丸大食品 has lowered its consolidated earnings forecast for the first half of FY2026 (April–September). Revenue has been cut from the initial forecast of ¥123.0 billion to ¥121.7 billion, while net income has been reduced from ¥3.2 billion to ¥1.7 billion.
The company cited higher costs, including raw-material costs, and expected sales of ham and sausages, its core products in the processed-foods segment, falling short of expectations.
The company has been implementing phased price increases for approximately 200 items starting with July shipments. It said that the impact is still being examined and will be disclosed together with its interim results, scheduled for release on 9 September.
