The improvement in net interest income is expected to contribute, with the company citing expectations that net interest income, including income from securities, will exceed its initial forecast, as well as expectations that credit-related costs will come in below plan.
The consolidated earnings forecast for the six months from April through September 2026 was also raised from ¥31.5 billion to ¥42 billion, a substantial increase from the same period of the previous year.
