The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Small and Medium Enterprise Agency have established special cybersecurity consultation desks for SMEs and small businesses. Consultations are free and available as many times as needed, with support provided through Yorozu Support Centers and IT Management Support Centers nationwide.
In light of a succession of large-scale information leaks caused by cyberattacks, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Small and Medium Enterprise Agency have established special cybersecurity consultation desks for SMEs and small businesses.
The desks have been established at Yorozu Support Centers nationwide and the IT Management Support Center of the National Federation of Small Business Associations, an incorporated administrative agency. Consultations are free and available as many times as needed.
Yorozu Support Centers serve businesses that have been unable to formulate specific measures and those wishing to discuss cybersecurity alongside broader management concerns. They also address management issues including information security and refer businesses to specialists and relevant organizations as needed.
The IT Management Support Center serves businesses wishing to consult specialists about IT and information security. It offers online consultations lasting 60 minutes per session, available as many times as needed, with neutral IT specialists providing advice on information security measures, risk assessment, asset management and governance structures.
