Goodpatch has embedded design decision criteria in an AI environment and begun offering the beta version of Ensio, a new AI design product that companies can use as an in-house asset.
Goodpatch announced on 27 October 2026 that it would begin offering the beta version of Ensio, a new AI design product. Ensio incorporates designers' quality judgments into AI and is offered as an environment that companies can use in-house.
Ensio's features include verbalizing each company's design rules and decision criteria to build an AI design platform, presenting design proposals together with the reasons for adopting them, retaining the reasons for approvals and rejections as records, and providing ongoing support from implementation.
The company says that, following interviews at implementation, it will put the decision criteria into words and connect the company's design system and user information to create an environment for generating designs that comply with its own standards. The beta version includes a mechanism that incorporates each company's rules and adds the rationale to designs generated by AI, as well as a structure for maintaining the decision criteria monthly.
Comments from the person responsible for the business emphasized the importance of SSOT and managing design standards. The company also plans to hold a webinar introducing Ensio's features on 19 November 2026.
